Our Workshops

  • Circus games

This workshop is suited for adults and kids alike. The games are adapted to the age of the participants and their skill level.

Expect some improvisation and theatre elements combined with circus props.

  • Hula Hoop

Hula hooping is not only spinning the hoop around your waist, it is so much more than that!

We will move the hoop off and on the body creating a dance. At the end of the workshop you will be able to perform a short choreographied hoop dance and will hoopefully feel comfortable to just flow as well.

  • Poi

‘A weight on a tether’ is the simple meaning behind the Maori word ‘poi’. It could be your keys at the end of a lanyard, or your gloves on a string. If you can spin it in a circle, it can be considered a poi.

In this workshop, we will teach you the basic concepts of flow arts and explore different planes and movements.

  • Intro to Juggling

We’ll start with a lively warm-up featuring circus games to get the body moving and the energy flowing. Then, we’ll dive into the basics: starting with one ball, exploring partner exercises, and gradually progressing to two and even three balls. Along the way, we’ll focus on movement, coordination, and interaction, making sure you enjoy the process while discovering the rhythm and flow of juggling.

  • Meet your clown

Step into the vibrant world of clowning! In this workshop, you'll learn to be fully present and allow yourself to play like never before. With Valeria, Innsfire’s co-founder, guiding you through the techniques, you'll discover that there are no mistakes—only opportunities to explore and grow.

Join us in a safe, supportive space where love and respect fill the air.

  • Partner Moves

Grab a buddy, fans, hula hoops or juggling rings. In this workshop we will show you some of our favourite partner moves….

    … because sharing is caring.

  • Partner Staff

In this workshop the Cirkodelic duo - Vale and Roku - explore improvisational and theatrical staff dancing.

Don’t expect technical tricks but more conceptual inspiration for a more playful, unique and theatrical improvisation.

  • Fire safety

Whether you're just starting out or need a refresher, this workshop will teach you the crucial fire safety skills every spinner needs.

We’ll cover everything from fuel types and proper dipping techniques to lighting up, extinguishing, and gear checks. Plus, learn how to spot safely, choose the right location to spin, and treat burns if accidents happen.

Perfect for anyone who wants to spin safely and confidently!

  • Build Your Own Prop

We have put together a workshop to show you how to build your own practise props.

We provide the materials and instructions, while you can experiment with sizing and weights.

Why engage in flow arts and juggling?

  • Train your body & mind

Practising juggling and flow arts requires focus, concentration, and spatial awareness, enhancing hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and fine motor skills.

It challenges and stimulates the brain while also improving physical dexterity.

  • Play

Engaging in play through juggling and flow arts encourages individuals to take a break from the seriousness of adulthood, unleash their inner child and rediscover the pleasure of being in the present moment.

  • Flow

When in flow, time seems to fly, and we experience a heightened sense of focus and fulfilment.

Due to its rhythmic and repetitive nature juggling and flow arts can facilitate the attainment of flow and induce a state of relaxation, promoting overall mental well-being.

  • Create

Juggling and flow arts are not just about replicating existing patterns; they are about creating and exploring different movements and sequences.

Using our bodies and props as brushes to paint patterns in the air, we become artists of motion and are encouraged to develop a unique style that reflects our personality.
